We have a great two days of new ideas, great speakers, awards, networking and fun planned!
The meeting will be held April 6-7 at Holiday Inn Executive Center in Columbia.
We have a packed schedule this year. On Thursday, April 6, the featured speaker will be Jack Miller from True Media. Jack will be speaking about the hot buttons that advertising agencies look at when placing ads. Jim Sterling from Missouri School of Journalism will present great ideas for special sections. We will round out day one of learning by sharing YOUR great ideas that you’ve had and you will have a chance to win cash if your idea is chosen as the best!
Thursday evening, we will honor the winners in the 2017 MAMA Best Ad Contest, as well as the Dee Hamilton Sales Pro Award. We’ll end day one by painting the town! This will be a guided paint networking event, with libations!
Friday, April 7, will feature Bill Church of GateHouse Media. Bill will discuss how great content can create revenue opportunities. Day two will also feature the popular round table discussions. Lou Ann Sornson of Metro Creative Graphics will host a round table on how their new products can help you create a professional product with minimal effort.
Kevin Jones from the St. Louis American will present on how hosting events can boost revenue and create ties within your community, even if you don’t have a huge staff. We also have a mystery round table with more details to be revealed soon!
If you need a sleeping room, MAMA is holding a block of rooms for Thursday, April 6, at the Holiday Inn Executive Center in Columbia. Call 573-445-8531 by March 3, and ask for Missouri Advertising Managers’ Association $99 room rate.
